Vacancy: Operations Coordinator

We currently have a vacancy for an Operations Coordinator.

In this role you will be administering the scheduling of the EPS drilling and other plant operations. This includes managing a constantly changing diary, which requires you to have good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

The Operations Coordinator helps build relationships with EPS' contractors and suppliers to ensure the needs of our projects can be met, as well as collecting and providing feedback to and audit of subcontractors. Therefore, being able to communicate effectively and clearly with clients, subcontractors, and other internal team members is key for success in this role.

You will be liaising with EPS Project Administrators to identify upcoming projects in order to ensure that we are providing as many services as possible and it is vital that you are able to work in a team.

Part of your role will include stewardship of Health and Safety in accordance with the company standards and guidelines and therefore, it would be helpful, although not essential, that you have a good understanding of Health and Safety documentation and operating procedures.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the maintenance of vehicles
  • Overseeing a team and their workflow
  • Managing and ordering stock and materials for the drilling operations and engineers
  • Controlling the maintenance of company equipment to a defined schedule, ensuring records are kept
  • Ensuring subcontractor agreements are updated, and insurances and qualifications are in place
  • Setting up fieldwork - booking EPS drillers or subcontractors, ensuring equipment is booked, organising paperwork
  • Track project progress from receipt of instruction from Project Administrators to completion of field work and off-hiring any equipment
  • Ensure the team delivers project tasks to defined standards set out at the project outset
  • Cover/ support EPS administration duties during periods of holiday/ sickness/high workload
